This new propellant to the United States market has broad utility great accuracy flash suppression and low temperature sensitivity. Being a spherical propellant it meters exceptionally well with volumetric powder throwers.
True to its name it functions exceptionally well in 6mm Creedmoor 6.5mm Creedmoor all the way up to 300 Winchester Magnum and all the way down to heavy-bullet 5.56mm. It's got a burn speed somewhat similar to Reloader-15.
We first evaluated this propellant on the accuracy range in 6.5 Creedmoor and the 140 grain Berger Hybrid Target projectile. At 200 yards we immediately witnessed 0.65 MOA 10-shot groups. Repeatedly. Similarly with 308 Winchester and the 168 grain Sierra Match King 0.5 MOA 10-shot groups at the same distance.
Our accuracy endeavors continued with 30-06 Springfield. With a 190 grain Sierra Match King we witnessed an average 0.678 MOA of with 5-each 10-shot groups. With the 243 Winchester 90 grain Berger Hybrid Tactical 0.594 MOA. 5-each 10- shot groups.
Regarding temperature sensitivity we tested with the 6mm Creedmoor. Between ambient temperature of 65 degrees and 125 degrees we saw 0.47 fps per degree change. Quite good.
The Creed is a canister form of South Africa Rheinmetall-Denel bulk and canister propellant S341.
As with any propellant and load combination a minor change to any of the components of the test load CAN result in significant shift in ballistic performance. This shift can cause unintended high pressures and result in injury or death. Therefore Shooters World LLC nor the manufacturer ofthis propellant take no responsibility for the intentional or unintentional misuse of this product. The charge weights and results noted within are not recommended either as a starting nor maximum load. They are shown merely as an indication of potential performance in one test load shot with SAAMI standards.
