The Model 48 Nosler Independence is the ultimate precision bolt-action handgun. Built on a one-piece billet aluminum stock the mid-grip stock provides a completely rigid platform for the bedded action and free-floated barrel. Designed from the ground up by the engineers at Nosler with input from some of the most successful handgun hunters alive today the M48 Independence is the answer to handgun hunters� dreams. Each handgun is machined and built from US made parts by the accomplished gunsmiths at the Nosler Rifle division in Redmond Oregon. - Built on the rugged Nosler Model 48 short action the Independence shares all of the same features that have made the Model 48 series of rifles a continued success. Available in a variety of short action calibers well-suited to varmint hunting silhouette shooting and hunting big game. Every 15 barrel has a threaded muzzle to fit a variety of muzzle breaks and suppressor options. Every handgun stock and barreled action are completely 100% Cerakoted. The Independence is designed to accept standard AR-15 grips allowing the owner to choose from a wide variety of aftermarket grips to customize the look and feel of the handgun to their liking. Each handgun ships standard with a black Hogue Overmolded rubber grip with finger grooves. The M48 Independence features a fully free-floated 416R stainless steel heavy contour barrel that has been threaded at the muzzle and supplied with a thread protector. - Stock: The stock of the M48 Independence is precision CNC machined from a single billet of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The one-piece design of the aluminum mid-grip stock provides a completely rigid platform for the bedded action and free-floated barrel. - Finish: The M48 Independence is entirely coated in NIC Industries Cerakote� finish. - Action: The M48 Independence is a single-shot fed from a solid-bottom receiver. - Brake: The Nosler 3-Port Muzzle Brake is designed to thread onto the barrel with ease and is available as an addition. - Grip: The Independence is designed to accept standard AR-15 grips allowing the owner to choose from a wide variety of aftermarket grips to customize the look and feel of the handgun to their liking. Each Independence ships standard with a black Hogue� OverMolded� rubber grip with finger grooves. - Barrel: The M48 Independence features a fully free-floated Shilen 416R stainless steel heavy contour barrel that has been threaded at the muzzle and supplied with a thread protector. Standard barrel length is 15. - Size: The M48 Independence- has an overall length of 21 with a 15 barrel and weighs 6.3 lbs without scope or mounts.

Delivery Date and Manually Reviewed Orders
- Orders placed between Monday and Friday typically ship the same day if placed before 12PM EST. If your order requires manual review the shipping date may be delayed
- Orders that need to be manually verified are flagged by our system. Typically we flag orders for manual verification if the billing and shipping address do not match, we need an ID on file to ship the order, or if the order is from a first time customer for a large amount. We will contact you promptly to verify your order or request an ID. Please feel free to contact us in advance to verify the order. Please submit the Drivers License to us via email: FFL@VIZARDSGUNS.COM. Once you have been verified you will not need to re-verified on your future orders. How To Purchase a Firearm Online
Step 1:Please verify the Firearm is legal in your state. You can do this by checking your state’s particular rules or simply ask a local gun dealer. Each state’s rules vary and some states restrict not only who may purchase and possess a handgun, but what particular models are permitted for such possession within that state.
Step 2:
If the firearm is legal in your state then you can make your purchase online.
Step 3:
Once, you have made your purchase contact your local FFL Dealer and have them Fax (603-974-2641) or email their FFL to Sales@VizardsGunsAndAmmo.com. Please have your Customer Order # (which you will find on the top right hand corner of your invoice after you purchased your firearm) and your Name on the FFL.
Step 4:
Once the FFL has been received from your dealer, your firearm will ship within 5 -7 business days.
Step 5:
Once your firearm ships you will receive an email with the tracking information and you can track your package online.
