Ashbury Precision Ordnance Mfg. broadens its Saber 700 Sport Utility Rifles lineup with the new Saber M700 Tactical Rifle.
Chambered in .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor, the Saber M700 Tactical Rifles are created using Remington Model 700 barreled actions paired with Saber’s modular rifle chassis. Weighing in at 11.3-pounds and with an overall length of 41-inches, the rifle folds to a length of 31.5-inches for easier toting. The Saber M700 sports an externally adjustable Rifle Basix trigger designed to break at 3 pounds.
Featuring a hammer-forged 20-inch barrel with 1-in-10-inch twist rate for the .38 Win version and a 22-inch barrel with 1-in-8-inch twist for the 6.5 Creedmoor model, the Saber M700 rifles boast a 5/8-24 threaded muzzle with an AAC Blackout 51T muzzle brake suppressor adapter.

Ashbury equipped the Saber M700 with a Saber Push Button Adjustable Hybrid shoulder stock. The stock comes with tool-less adjustments for cheek piece height as well as length of pull and recoil pad vertical recoil pad drop — all of which feature positive locking adjustments. On the front end, the Saber M700 Tactical Rifle offers an aluminum alloy MOD 1 forend with M-LOK accessory rail at 3-, 6-, 9- and 12-o’clock regions. A MIL-STD 1913 20 MOA top rail and user-adjustable hand grip round out the Saber M700 Tactical Rifle’s offerings.
“The Saber M700 .308 Tactical Rifle is a great example of the continuing evolution of Ashbury’s Saber modular rifle chassis system,” Matthew Peterson, Ashbury’s Product Manager, said in a press release. “APO’s mature rifle chassis designs are far reaching in terms of modularity, re-configurability, shooter ergonomics and low-felt recoil. Coupled with continuous improvements in Remington’s mass production manufacturing processes, Ashbury can offer this high-quality, best-value tactical rifle that’s range ready.”
The base rifle in .308 Win or 6.5 Creedmoor is available through Ashbury Precision Ordnance with a MSRP of $2,750.
