Savage Arms breathes new life into its Rascal line with the introduction of new models including the Rascal FV-SR, Target and Target XP.
The Rascal FV-SR kicks off the new additions with a suppressor ready design featuring a threaded 1/2-28 barrel. The FV-SR uses full-size rifle features like peep sight, tough synthetic stock and user-adjustable Accu-Trigger system. The suppressor ready Rascal setup will be available in the shooter’s choice of black or pink.
The Rascal Target utilizes a hardwood stock paired with a heavy 16 1/8-inch barrel with threaded muzzle. Like its FV-SR sibling, the Target model uses full-size rifle features including the Accu-Trigger system and suppressor ready threaded barrel.

“Collectively, the platform offers far better safety, functionality and accuracy than competing designs,” Savage said in a press release regarding the Target model.
The Target XP delivers the same features as the Target but amps the design up with a mounted and boresighted 4x32mm scope in addition to a bipod sling swivel and mount. The Target XP also boasts a left-handed model for southpaws.
All rifles are currently shipping to dealers and distributors, according to Savage. The Rascal FV-SR retails for $219 while the Target is priced at $314 and the Target XP comes in at a heightened $399.
