Thompson Center Adds New Stock Options to T/CR22 Series, showing two new stocks-- hardwood and FDE

The two new stocks bring the number of standard variants of the T/CR22 to at least five.

Thompson Center continues to expand the T/CR22 rimfire rifle series by adding options with either a traditional hardwood or a Magpul composite FDE stock.

“We are excited to announce the addition of the new hardwood and FDE Black Grit stock options in the T/CR22 rifle line,” said Danielle Sanville, T/C’s brand manager, in a statement. “A traditional hardwood stock appeals to many of our consumers seeking a ‘classic’ look on this modern rifle, and the new FDE Black Grit finish provides a new, eye-catching pattern while maintaining the ergonomic advantage of the popular Magpul stock.”

The two new stocks bring the number of standard variants of the T/CR22 to at least five. T/C debuted the rifle last May, pitched to plinkers and those new to shooting. The company soon followed up with camo stock options geared to hunters and performance models.

Compatible with most aftermarket 10/22 accessories, the modular design on the T/CR22 boasts an oversized bolt handle for easier manipulation and crisp trigger pull. The 17-inch button-rifled barrel features a threaded muzzle to allow shooters to throw on a suppressor or other muzzle device. Standard features include a green fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear peep, as well as a built-in Picatinny-style rail for optics.

MSRP is $419, but we generally beat that here at Guns.com. For more information on the line as a whole, check out the below.
