Guaranteed to shoot sub-half-MOA and priced to allow entry in PRS production rifle events, the new Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro series bolt guns were announced this week.

Georgia-based Daniel Defense took two years of feedback on their Delta 5 series guns to make the Pro series, which includes being one of the first production rifles to feature AREA 419’s ARCA RSS-spec rail. Offered in three calibers-- 6.5mm Creedmoor, 6mm Creedmoor, and .308 Winchester-- the rifles all include interchangeable cold hammer forged barrels with an Area 419 muzzle brake on a stainless steel bedded action.

Weight ranges from 10.8-pounds for the 20-inch .308 model (shown) to 13.2-pounds on the 26-inch 6/6.5 CM variants. (All Photos: Daniel Defense)

The barrels used on the Delta 5 Pro series are threaded and use an Area 419 Hellfire brake. The brake uses a 5/8x24 TPI pitch. When it comes to length, .308s use a 20-inch barrel, 6 CM a 26-inch, and the 6.5 CM either a 24- or 26-inch barrel.

All models use an AICS short action magazine and ship with a Magpul PMAG 10.

Internally, the rifles use an adjustable single-stage Timney Elite Hunter trigger, three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw, and a floating bolt head. The stock is adjustable for length of pull and butt pad height adjustments without the need for tools while the cheek riser can be adjusted for height, yaw, and drift.

The stock includes 10 built-in M-LOK QD sling points while there is another half-dozen M-LOK slots at six positions along the forend for bipods and accessories.

Colors include the standard black or optional Coyote Tan...
...or Olive Drab.

The Daniel Defense Delta Pro 5 will have an MSRP of $2,499 in black with tan and OD models adding $174.
